Cave announced in Famitsu Weekly that the Shmup Death Smiles will see a console release on the Xbox 360 in Japan early next year. Its is notable for is aesthetic style, featuring heavy occult and gothic influences. It is only the second Cave shoot 'em up to be played using a horizontally-oriented monitor. The first being the mighty Pro Gear No Arashi. The game marks the return of Joker Jun who previously did illustrations for Dodonpachi and ESP Ra.De. The Xbox 360 port will feature Xbox live support with leaderboards , online Co-Op , extra stage and characters exclusive to the home port. Here is the Death Smiles Official Xbox 360 Site
