Capcom will be releasing the sequel in the survivor horror series Resident Evil 5 on Xbox 360/Ps3 March 13th 2009 worldwide. The game will feature online co op play and retains the same gameplay engine as the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4. The game is set in Africa and features Chris Redfield returning as our lead protagonist and a new character Sheva Alomar who works for Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance and will be assisting Chris.
