ESP Ra.De M2 ShotTriggers release announced for later this year.

ESP Ra.De has been announced as part of the M2 Shot triggers collection. This is the 5th game in the shmup series behind Battle Garegga, Dangun Feveron, Mahou Daisakusen (Sorcer Striker), and Ketsui Deathtiny. All 4 previous games were released on PS4 in Japan with Battle Garegga and Dangun Feveron being released later on for the Xbox One in the USA. The game was originally created by the Legendary shmup Developers Cave LTD and published by Atlus for the Arcade in 1998. This is the first port for home consoles. Platforms and an exact release date have yet to be revealed however we can conclude at least a PlayStation 4 port is planned.

Contra inspired Run N Gun shooter Blazing Chrome heading to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in March

Developer Joymasher will be releasing their Contra Homage Blazing Chrome to the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime in the near future. Microsoft also announced it will be part of Game Pass.  March 2019 is the estimated release timeframe. An Arcade version is planned for the EXA Arcade Platform at unspecified date.


Psyvariar Delta on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 coming to the USA via Dispatch games eventually.....


Developer City Connection announced Psyvariar Delta last year at around the same time Publisher Dispatch games also announced a domestic release that would follow later in the Summer. Dispatch opened Pre-Orders yet the game continues to remain in limbo. For those, not familiar these games were originally developed for the Taito G-Net and then ported to the PlayStation 2. This collection will include Psyvariar Medium Unit and Revision. Some features such as online scoreboard and co-op gameplay should be included. If you cannot wait for the USA release the Japanese versions are Region-Free and have been on Sale since last year. A Steam port was released earlier in the year. The Arcade release is planned for the EXA Arcade Platform at an unspecified date.


RS34 is bringing Radirgy Swag to the Nintendo Switch later this year.


Developer R34 who now owns the rights to Mile-Stone's properties is bringing a version of the Naomi Arcade shmup to the Nintendo Switch as  Radirgy Swag. The game has previously seen releases on the Dreamcast and later on the Gamecube (Generic), PlayStation 2 (Precious), and collections for the Wii (Radirgy Noa, Milestone Collection), and Xbox 360 (Noa Massive, Sakura Flamingo Archives). The team is made up of former members of Mile-Stone. It is not known at this time whether this is a PORT or a Sequel. More info will follow.

                                      

Konami Anniversary Collection: Arcade Classics revealed. Set for April 18th on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The Konami Anniversary Collection will consist of eight of the company’s arcade games from the 1980s. This collection of games will be released digitally on April 18th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and Cost $19.99 A PC release via Steam will follow later in the year.

 It will include the following titles:

Haunted Castle
A-Jax (aka Typhoon)
Gradius Gradius 2
Life Force
Thunder Cross
Scramble
TwinBee

Psikyo Collection Vol.3's physical Nintendo Switch version confirmed for May 30th release

Psikyo Collection Vol.3's physical Switch version confirmed for May 30th release. Developed by ZeroDiv it includes 4 games Strikers 1945 III, Gunbarich, Zero Gunner 2-, and Sengoku Cannon with multi-language support. There will be a Standard and a limited edition. This is exclusive to Asia and will be published by Arc System Works like the previous two collections.

Streets of Rage 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch , Playstation 4 , Xbox One , and PC later this year.

Dotemu /Guard Crush / Lizard Cube in association with Sega are producing a Sequel to the classic beat em up series Streets Of Rage. Streets Of Rage 4 will be released on the Nintendo Switch , Playstation 4 , Xbox One ,  and PC later this year. A trailer dropped today.



Caladrius Blaze is heading to Nintendo Switch

Thanks to a Taiwanese ratings board listing Caladrius Blaze will be released to the Nintendo Switch later this year. UFO Interactive will be publishing.  Originally developed for Xbox 360 / Arcade with the Blaze port as a Playstation 3 / PlayStation 4 and a PC release.  The game is Developed by shmup studio Moss who is made up of former members of Seibu Kaihatsu.

Hamster and SNK Arcade Archives Neo Geo Baseball Stars 2 will be available on Nintendo Switch , Playstation 4 , and Xbox One March 21st

Hamster and SNK will be bringing Baseball Stars 2 to Nintendo Switch , Playstation 4 , and Xbox One March 21st as part of the Arcade Archives series. The Game is a port of the Neo Geo Classic which was originally released in 1992. It will be on the Eshop for $7.99

Raiden V Director's cut heading to Nintendo Switch later this year


According to a Taiwanese ratings board Raiden V Director's cut will be released to the Nintendo Switch later this year. UFO Interactive will be publishing. They previously published the ports in The West. Originally developed for Xbox One with the Director's cut port as a PlayStation 4  and a PC release. No other details have been provided. The game is a sequel to the long-running shmup series and is Developed by Moss and licensed from Seibu Kaihatsu.
