While searching the net about Shmups I stumbled across Gulti's web site and noticed they had a english page. Here is the Link to that site and a small excerpt from their Company Profile below.
Gulti Co., Ltd. (pronounced ga roo chi) is an entertainment software developer founded in 2006 and based in Tokyo the mecca of electronics, gaming and pop culture, Akihabara. The founding members of Gulti include the core development team from Seibu Kaihatsu, Raiden and Raiden Fighters series.
Hopefully we can count on them for Shmup ports and Original IP for years to come. I really am a huge fan of the Raiden games myself.
